And then there were only two...

What the hell is there to say about Romney?

The guy is purely plainly batshit.

I'm referring, of course, to Romney's surreal ramblings.

Not only did he start by laying the blame of all of the worlds ills on the decommissioning of the military industrial complex after the collapse of the Soviet Union at the hands of the Clinton administration...

But [the military's] numbers have been depleted by the Clinton years, when troops were reduced by 500,000, when almost 80 ships were retired from our Navy, and when our human intelligence was slashed by 25 percent. We were told we were getting a peace dividend. We got the dividend; we didn't get the peace.
Riiiight... What Clinton should have done was to keep 500,000 troops because had he done so, then our invasion of Iraq could have happened in parallel to an invasion of both Iran and North Korea, and before you know it peace would be blossoming in every corner of the world!

But is this the end of the "batshit crazy" this demagogue has to offer? Not by a long shot:
Barack and Hillary have made their intentions clear regarding Iraq and the war on terror: They would retreat, declare defeat... And the consequence of that would be devastating. It would mean attacks on America, launched from safe havens that would make Afghanistan under the Taliban look like child's play. About this, I have no doubt.
Right. Democrats = terrorists win, and Republicans = God's intended victory against the evils of godless liberals and god-fearing islamofascists... So leave it to the voice of reason, the voice of moderation, Mitt Romney, to explain why he's withdrawing from the race:
Frankly, in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign be a part of aiding a surrender to terror.
Nice. The only thing that speech was missing was equating the Democrats with Nazis and child molesters.
