Khan Klatt was appointed Media Access' Chief Technology Officer in March 1999. Mr. Klatt's day-to-day functions include overseeing development projects, managing the development group, and maintaining the company's technology infrastructure. He is also responsible for developing and implementing Media Access' information system strategies.
Prior to joining Media Access, Klatt served as Director of Network Engineering for the Bellingham branch of Verio, Inc., where he was responsible for the day-to-day technical operations of a regional Internet network.
A longtime proponent of Internet technologies, Klatt has been actively involved in Web development since 1992. In 1993, he assisted Western Washington University in launching (and subsequently managing) their Web infrastructure. "It was very rewarding to help the University achieve its goals," remarked Klatt. "My job today is to help our clients implement a technology plan that lets them meet their targets."
Born and raised in Turkey, Klatt moved to Washington at age seventeen to pursue higher education. A bilingual speaker, Klatt did his undergraduate work in Physics and Computer Science at Western Washington University. Klatt's interests include advanced computer technologies, music composition, and German automobiles.
